Diego Vega Romero

I was born and raised in La Paz, Baja California Sur, and I have always enjoyed outdoor activities. I studied biology and later I specialized in arid zone ecology. When I finished my master’s degree, in 2017, I got a job as a kayak guide and since that winter I work as a guide and naturalist. In the summer of 2018 I arrived at Cabo Pulmo as a tourist and had an incredible experience. On that visit I heard that there was a work oportunity as a guide, so I asked for the job and now here I am. For me, being a guide is an exciting job that at all times is teaching me new skills and gives me the opportunity to talk about the local natural history, I really enjoy it.
